Stoga Pioneer Community Service Day
Saturday, October 20th was Stoga Football's annual Community Service Day at Coatesville Veterans Affairs Medical Center. They spent four hours on campus mulching; shoveling; weeding; planting and cleaning. The team was there to help prepare and beautify the grounds for the VA's November 9th parade and Veterans Day Ceremony. In support of David's Drive 831, the boys also donated much-needed basics including socks; tee shirts and boxers to the veterans. We are proud of our boys and thank them and their coaches for all of their hard work. We especially thank our veterans for their service to our country.
A heart and hope for Matt
Matt was diagnosed in July 2018 with Dilated Cardiomyopathy which led to heart failure. He spent the summer in the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, and is in need of a heart transplant. Matt will need several heart transplants over his lifetime, yet his hope and optimism remain strong. Matt used to play football and will be a high school senior this upcoming year. Your donation will help Matt and his family with medical bills, and other expenses. Please be generous. Matt is loved by his family and friends. He has a great sense of humor and always makes people laugh. Your donation is greatly appreciated.
